Outlive Your Life By Max Lucado
This is a call to every Christians around the world… OUTLIVE YOUR LIVES! “Outlive Your Life” by Max Lucado is totally an eye-opening book about the current situation of the generation we are living into. A world in desperate need.
As a fan of books, I have known Max Lucado with his catchy, poetic approach. I knew this book would be worth reading and I was so right about it! It thoroughly changed my views on how the Christian’s life should be. It had challenged me to take a step further away from the common. To live a life out of the ordinary. In the Bible, Christ commanded Peter to step out of the boat and walk on water. It isn’t normal to do… but that’s just how Christ wants us to live our lives… All we have to do is trust God and walk on water. Outlive our lives.
I realized that I am living in a generation where 1.75 billion people are dreadfully poor and that 1 billion people needs at least a crumb to live. They are hungry. If I’m claiming I’m a Christian, Christ gives His followers compassion over His most precious creation—man. What should I do about it? Christians, what should we do about it?
I recommend this book to all (true) Christian who cares. We may not be able to help every person in the world but we can help our neighbors, the crippled beggar who asks for bread, and the children without shoes. We can help. The world needs you, the world needs God’s Love.
